1. The Service

Cosmic Abuela delivers personalized Vedic astrology readings via our website at cosmicabuela.com. Readings are generated using a combination of astronomical calculations (Swiss Ephemeris, sidereal zodiac) and AI language generation (Anthropic Claude).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Cosmic Abuela. You agree to provide accurate information during signup.

3. For Entertainment Purposes

Cosmic Abuela is an astrology service designed for entertainment, self-reflection, and personal insight. It is not a scientific tool and does not provide professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Readings should not be used as a substitute for professional guidance.

4. Vedic Astrology

Cosmic Abuela uses Vedic (sidereal) astrology, which differs from the tropical astrology used by most Western apps. Your planetary placements may differ by approximately 24 degrees from what you see on other platforms. This is expected and reflects the sidereal calculation system.

5. AI and Accuracy

Our reading engine uses AI language models (provided by Anthropic) to generate personalized text based on your calculated birth chart data. While planetary positions are calculated with astronomical precision, the interpretive text is AI-generated and may occasionally contain inaccuracies. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of interpretations, and you are responsible for how you use the content.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the service.
• Do not upload malicious code or interfere with operations.
• Do not harass, abuse, or threaten staff or other users.

7. Pricing and Subscriptions

Cosmic Abuela offers a free tier (weekly reading, lucky day, ritual, 30 days of memory) and a Pro tier at $5/month (love readings, partner compatibility, full memory history). Pricing is subject to change with notice.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via the "Manage subscription" link in your reading portal footer, or by contacting us.

8. Intellectual Property

Cosmic Abuela and its content are owned by us. You may share your personal readings for personal use, but you may not resell or redistribute our content as a product or service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or abuse the service. You can delete your account by contacting us at the email below.

10. Limitation of Liability

By using this service, you agree that the creators, developers, and operators of Cosmic Abuela are not liable for decisions, actions, or losses resulting from your use of the content. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
